Find Your Passion

Do you really enjoy waking up early Monday through Friday and going to work for a company that drains your creativity and leaves you feeling unfulfilled?  Do you look forward to being cramped up inside of a cubicle in front of a glaring computer for 10-12 hours out of your day?  I know I don’t.  But I also know that if I want to continue to be a productive member of society that pays bills and supports myself- I have no choice, right?  WRONG.  There are so many women out there who are living their best lives by doing what they love and making a profit out of their passion.  Why don’t you do the same thing?

If you already know what your passion is- Lucky YOU!  You’re already half way on the path to changing your life.  You just may not realize it yet.  If you haven’t figured out your passion yet- get a pen and paper ready because you’re about to figure it out!  It’s never to early or too late for you to start living your best life.

  • What do you already love to do?  If money wasn’t a factor and you had all of the time and resources at your disposal- what would you like to spend most of your time doing?
  • What sorts of topics do you spend the most time researching, reading about, listening to or watching?  Even if you don’t realize it, there is something that is a recurring theme throughout your hobbies/interests.
  • Brainstorm.  Ask your friends and family about it.  Research this topic on the Internet.  Is there a way to turn this interest into a business?
  • Practice your passion.  Turn it into a skill.  Do as much research as possible until you can be considered an expert.  The Internet offers a lot of information – mostly free of charge.  Take advantage.
  • After some serious thought decide on a plan of action.  How can you turn this moneymaking dream into a reality?  Give it a try as a side gig.  Don’t quit your day job of course, but indulge yourself in the possibilities of this business venture.
  • Know that what you are doing will succeed.  No matter how much brainstorming, researching, and planning you do, you will never be successful if you continue to have negative thoughts.  Give yourself a realistic deadline and start moving toward your goal.

I know that there is nothing I enjoy more than doing what I love and getting paid for it.  I’m sure you feel the same way too.  You owe it to yourself to live the happiest life you possibly can.
